Folks,
If and when there is a ProBoards update to v5 (we are on v4.5) now, it will at least allow me to *merge* posts and threads together, which I think is what we need to do here.
Rather than have 5 different threads on 5 different Original Floater sizes, I think it should be done by Model, and any and all colors it came in should go in that thread.
As of now I don't have the ability to merge this info, so it will need to stand this way for now.

Can anybody or Wolfgang explain the differences in RB1-RB2-RB3 for the recently posted H13's to me. All what I've seen are the other VMC Hooks & copper/ss split rings. Seen this fact on F18's also, so why they create a new code? Thx

Because they look really different when you see them together(like the pink stripe)!!! I think wolfgang should make a pic with all 3 together.

Hallo Jörg.
the RB-1-2-3 thing is coming from me.
the H13 RB is different, not much, similar to the just-started DT01FAT discussion. i have taken the numbers over from the FT-HT descriptions. some call these FT1, FT2, FT3, some call it 1st generation, red gills, ...
in the RB the no. 1 has much less color on it and it is coming from FINLAND; no. 2 has more color, old hook style, IRELAND; no. 3 has black hooks and is coming from ESTONIA.
if anybody out there does not agree with this, i can change to whatever this board may suggest; or if you guys should decide these are all the same, let me know which one to leave and which ones to take out.
guess i would loose some $$ rap-cash then, but i can live with that ...
best, wolfgang

i think its ok so Wolfgang.I have also all 3 kinds RB here and i can agree with Wolfgang that they are differents and its a fact that every single one come from a other factory. And with the nummbers should be the easiest way, i think.

Thank you guys. In fact the Code for the RB's are collectors declaration only? So there must be the same little differences as for the PH2 & RFT2. But these were official. Thank god I've never started with these Huskys...

I think I may start to pick this up again. I found an old spreadsheet I found awhile back and started updating it again.
I think I am well up to and over 400+ color codes.
I will see if I can throw up a preview of what I am thinking and how to execute this....

Hi Ted.
i think this is a good idea. many people around here, and even more out there, are wondering a lot about what these crazy codes stand for. just one example: the new TE-7 FINLAND-only colors FRHF and FBHF; or the SL-13 GRLB which looks very much like a FT to me.
maybe you ask Jörg for his list and try to merge with yours. he has done a great job in finding out what some of the crazy codes stand for.
the thing is (as also pointed out in the discussion above) how are we going to handle e.g. FT and others such as SSH, HT, GFR ..., where the same code stands for quite different looking color schemes. we can do the FT1 FT2 etc or the 1st generation, red gill thing.
i think we will be well into 500+ now, so it will be interesting for all of us to have this list as complete and up-to-date as possible.
best, wolfgang

I know there are duplicates in here, and I think for certain lures a color code would need to be listed twice, just to show the differences, the biggest hurdle is a) locating all of the images b) determining which size thumbnail of image to use c) where to put all the images The list of color codes is the 'easy' part. Corresponding images to all of them would be tough. But it would be good to get a few reference tools up here for everyone...
