Are you planning on fishing with any of these Jason ? I only ask as I'm curious as to what the action on them is like, in my eyes they look very similar in shape to the longcasts (minus the bent tail) I did buy a few extra with that intention. But at the rate I get out to fish. They may never get used. I'll probably just end up offing them.

Check these out? Picked them up yesterday. Took me a while to figure out why they were all marked Special.

Hello, why are marked "Special" I have never seen a brown hooks "Special". There are lots of Specials with the bronze hooks. These ones all have metallic in the paint. Much like the ones sold in Japan. The RNR OCW is actually painted different than a stock version. The other RNR. Im not yet sure why its marked special. Only thing I can think of is it came out before the color was actually a cataloged color.

Jason, thanks for the info about the metallic in the paint. I have a Fat Rap FR-5 FT in a SPECIAL box and always wondered what was "special" about it...I'll have to take a look at it and see if it has the metallic paint.

ok, a couple of things, first off, all the rest of the lures gave me the feeling that these were decades old. and that mag lipped red fin shiner shad rap is not that old, or at least we all thought. second, the blue (mag?)...the birth of the LCM? and to top it off, the impromptu perch fat rap with the lip that looked likes like it was melted with a lighter on the bank side. like instant prototyping, the redneck way. LOL but all very cool Bacon

I have know Idea LOL LCM sounds good to me. All I know for sure, is they came from a very reliable source. I even got some second hand oppinions. From more reliable sources. And they all were suprised I got these.

I was indeed misinformed on those last three baits I pictured. They are some bonus baits thrown in with the Tenojoki lures I purchased. There actually just misc proto types. Along with these as well.
