Well now that I know that a lot of other people on here play Xbox and Playstation, I'm interested to what games you guys are all playing. Lately I've been obsessed with Fallout 3, and it's kinda taking away some fishing time, but every second that I'm on that game is action packed and just plain fun. I also play some Call of Duty4: Modern Combat, and Call of Duty: World at War, but everytime I play these games online, I usually just end up getting pissed off by 10 year olds owning me and unless I'm playing with friends, I usually shut of my 360. Battlestations: Midway is another game I play every once in a while, but it really tires me out from all of the thinking and strategy My Xbox Gamertag is NathenPD if anyone wants to add me, I'm usually on every weekend. So what are you guys playing?

So what are you guys playing? LOL, you have good taste in games, because before Fallout3, all I was playing was Call Of Duty I've actually been playing FO3 exclusively on the PS3 since just after Christmas...I basically finished all the quests, now Im just going back and trying to find all of the locations...I only found 46, and Ive already logged in over 160+ hours on that game, and that's pretty much from just playing on weekends! I even purchased Resistance2 at the same time, and that is still in its shrink wrap! The next COD4 is coming out in Nov, I think - they are dropping COD from the title and its going to be Modern Warfare2...can't wait...there are just too many damn good games out there, and no time. In a way its good for me, because dropping 60.00 per game gets expensive...so FO3 has really saved me a ton of cash...

I'm sure when the expansion packs are released to the PS3, then you will be in heaven. The third one raises the level cap to 30, and the 4th one has a survival horror theme to it that I just can't wait for. Not sure if you know about this site, but it's amazing for any Fallout player. fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki

I remember awhile back playing SOCOM online for hours a day and was my wife pissed I can still hear her now "is that all your going to do is play that game" and my response was YUP,or until I got pissed and broke the controller, because I got waxed in about 2 seconds I still play the COD4 but will have to get the FO3 that you guys are talking about.

Ha ha ha, I used to play all of the Socoms regularly - wasnt too crazy about the PS3 version though... I had a lot more fun with COD; the controls were better, and it was more fun to to track your level progress too. Fallout3 is kind of like a RPG-type game...well, sorta. I hate RPG type games, but I fell in love with FO3. If you do decide to pick it up, make sure you pick up the 400+ page guide that goes with it. Normally I dont buy guides either, but the game is massive, and you'll need it. It does start off kinda slow, I wasnt sure if I liked it much at first until a couple of hours in. It WILL take up a lot of your free time I guess Im glad I had it to keep me company during the long winter.

You know how they say don't drink the water in Mexico, well don't drink the water in Fallout. (unless you have Rad-away) Also, don't drop or give away bottlecaps like I did in the beginning. You will figure out why later

the first rapala game was the reason i bought my first xbox, i have had a 360 now for about a year and a half, and played the new rapala for 2009, it was good, got my 1000 acheivment points. i have been acheivment hunting since the end of last year, but dont have enough time to really rack up points. anyone on live you can look me up as baconbail, dont ask why not baconbait like i wanted. had a hard time to tell the t from the l on my tiny screen, now i have it on the 36 in in the bedroom so i can see it better. oops. i am using gamefly to get games that i can max out in the shortest amount of time. If you have not played portal yet, your really missing out. the rest of the orange box was ho-hum, but that game was pretty cool. cod4 is still the best game i have ever played, but you really will not survive vetren mode. however i have not picked it up in a long time, still working on WAW. i love the multi on that one, i much prefer coop then cod4. bad company had a pretty killer mp too. with the wife and kid its hard to get time to play much and getting time to put on the headphones and going live is impossible. i am refusing to buy a ps3, last thing i need is something else to get addicted too, and i cant say i have been real impressed with the look of the exclusive game except maybe drake. as for the wii, i hated the first rapala game, just more of what was on the xbox version, but the controls were terrible and the gameplay was too canned. wii fit is cool, but i find myself sitting playing 360 insteady of getting fit. here i thought i was the only one willing to kill time on videogames, looking at those who posted, i feel alot better about being a slacker. bacon

If you turn that thing on when 'there's things to do' be prepared to get the death stare... I did have one of my best days the day after getting some serious oral surgery...there's wans't much you could do after something that like, except for just sit in one place. So in a Oxycodone induced haze, I played COD4 for 7 hours straight, only getting up to pee, and spit blood...

I routinely play Rainbow 6 Vegas on my Xbox... I use to play R6V2 but threw the thing into the woods after endless games of fuckin lame ass "Campers" and unrealistic game play such as walking up to some douche-bag camper and putting a MK.23 to his head and pulling the trigger, only to have them stand up, turn around and somehow kill me after surviving a point-blank shot to the head..... After that shit, I snapped and went back to the original vegas which is better IMO.
onto my newest game... "Red Faction Guerrilla" This game rocks! You can destroy everything on the map and even bring buildings down with your sledge-hammer by taking out the supports! many guns, many vehicles and many back packs.... backpaks that enhance the player abilities with flight, electrocution, invisibility, speed, tremor, healing, etc...
Great game and I cant put it down, now if I can only find a way to win.

i bought a pair of the turtle beach headphones for x box live. by far my best investment, you get great game audio plus all the chat in them and they block out all other noise, like the wife and kids. never hear her bitching at all when i use them, but once they come off, all that bitching had stockpiled up and i get it at once. but there great for time when she wants to go to bed and i wanna stay up. usually about 3 am i have them ripped off my head and told how late it is, cause i will lose track of time and stay up way too late. bacon

Im more of the run-n-gun personality myself. I heard Red Faction was good, might have to give that a rent...I really wish I didn't hate the 360 controllers so much, that's prolly the main reason why I never got into the system... It seems for every 5 people that are on Live, theres one PS3 player...I guess that would be me. Check out this trailer for Modern Warfare2... due out Nov, 2009

I don't get to play my games that much anymore with the whole WORK thing going on I just bought the new Resident Evil 5 game for my 360. That game is pretty cool. Lately its that or Halo 3. I have COD4, but never really got into it hardcore like a lot of people because my buddies are all playing Halo 3. Definately a good game though. Gamertag: Spinner270

The new COD world at war map pack is pretty good, but the zombie map is the best part of it. Zombie dogs and booby traps... but its much harder than the last two.

Well I'am not quite as old as Ted (JK) but not to far behind at 35 and still love to play games. The damn things are to much fun not to play.I remember when Medal of Honor came out.I sat my rear end in front of the TV and completed the whole game only getting up to pee & grab another cold one.Almost forgot, to get the door when the pizza guy came

Ted, I blame you.
And by blaming you, i can here-by pass the buck to you from my wife.
See, after hearing you talk about Fallout3 (seeing your typed words anyway) i decided i would give it a quick once over, looked like i could get a few quick points and try it out. it came via gamefly a about 2 weeks ago, and every spare minute i have, im addicted. i took 3 days to get out of the vault, kept backing up and trying differnt things. finally satisfied i finally treated myself with leaving the vault and looking outside. HOLY SHIT! it just never ends, the landscape just keeps going and going. I am just finally now to GNR, i think im getting a handle on it now, so i dont spend so much time replaying the same areas. that being said, my wife as a new reason to complain to me, so when she wakes up at 2 am and sees my siloutte infront of a TV screen of Post-apycoliptic horror, and starts raging on about how that stupid game is so important, i can simply say, its Ted's fault. i think im going to buy it from gamefly, but i think then i will have to suspend my membership, cause i have a feeling that this game is going to take precidence over anything else they will send me for quite a while.
so thanks ted, for taking the heat off of me.
quick note. if you find yourself having a nice little stroll around super duper mart and some bondage junkie starts shooting you with an automatic pistol, dont take cover behind the car. on second thought, DO try that, the slow motion death scene is pretty neat. parts of car and body fliying all over the place.
