how does it smells like? I haven't even seen a skunk in Singapore, just wondering how bad it smells... like rotten fruits?

I can't really describe what it smells like,but it smells worse then rotten fruit. It brought tears to my eyes and made me gag.Almost to the point of throwing up. Maybe another member could better describe what it smells like. |

Hmmm...skunk smell, let's see...when taken full force, there's definitely an 'onion' quality to it. Kind of like a mix between the strongest onion you can find, mixed with the smell of burning tires. The spray itself can cause temporary blindness in animals, or even permanent if they get it bad enough. In the case of our long haired shepherd Ben, he even managed to rip the tail off the skunk before it got back through the fence. His head was soaked, and he was still killing it. Good boy!! Ok, so it took almost a week of regular baths in peroxide and soaps to get the worst out, and probably another month before you didn't smell him coming anymore, but he did learn his lesson....'racing kitty' BAD!!!  |
