Oh well, why not. This is my boat. Relatively cheap and easy to maintain. I don't need a floating couch like some of you probably have. This is fishing in it's true form: silently enjoying fishing and nature around you.

Hard indeed, considering I live in The Netherlands. lol 2 A bellyboat is ideal for fishing in the small lakes we have around here. Mostly vertically with softbaits, so the lack of speed is turned into an advantage for us.

Until you need to get to the other side of a 5000 acre lake, or need to get off the water in a hurry cause a storm is brewing.
I have a inflatable pontoon as well. Got a spot on the back for my cooler/livewell, foot stirrups, oarlock, and two zippered pouches for alot of tackle. I plan on using it a lot in the skinny water by me.
Have a lot of places where they won't let you fish, but the river is public, so I can row into spots most people don't go into.
Also have a 12 foot jon for the bigger rivers. It has a nice 4 stroke 6 horse on the back.
Then my baby is a 17 foot bass boat. I use that for the lakes trolling and jigging for walleye and drift fishing the catfish.
If I get ambitious, I will upload some pics......this year :-D

My fishing platform is a 1995 Ranger 397VS 19' fish & ski boat. I inherited it in 2008 after my father lost his fight with cancer. Lots of great memories of him every time I step on its deck, and myself, my wife, daughter, and mother continue to build fishing memories every summer out on Kentucky Lake. It is powered by a Mercury Black Max 200hp EFI, has a Motorguide foot controlled trolling motor, and 2 Lowrance fish finders.

Classy looking boat for 15 yrs old. Looks like it has been babied . It would be a shame to get fish blood all over it.

Thanks, not babied though, just cared for, and not used enough (only about 4 weeks a year), its always been washed when pulled out of the water + stored inside its entire life. Dad always taught me to take care of my tools & toys! By the way, its had plenty of fish blood on it over the years!

Hey Casey, I was scrutinizing all the photos on this thread, I think its cool how anglers personalize their boats, I was admiring the cockpit set up you have on your Lowe, very neat and well appointed, but then I glanced down in the corner of your photo and noticed your camera takes pictures in the future (5/4/"2014"). ;D Just kidding, nice rig though honestly.

Maybe Casey doesn't have the boat yet but is planning for it by May 2014?
