I was thinking about this thread for 3 nights now and I thought it would be an interesting one. Now the forage in my country (Lithuania) is random, we don't have any minnows (apart from Swamp minnows and Eurasian minnows which are endangered) and shad (apart from the Allis Shad which lives in the sea). Heres a list of species our pike (as well as zander, perch, chub and trout) feed on, not on every lake or river but what most commonly: Ruffe (this fish as a infection to our waters) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-67/go.htmlPerch www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-68/go.htmlRoach www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-26/go.htmlEuropean Chub www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-27/go.htmlCommon Dace www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-28/go.htmlRudd www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-31/go.htmlTench www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-34/go.htmlCrucian Carp (common on specific lakes) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-46/go.htmlPrussian Carp/Silver Crucian Carp (very common in lakes) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-47/go.htmlBrown Trout ( common on certain rivers, but difficult to catch) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-13/go.htmlBleak www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-38/go.htmlGrass Carp (introduced to our waters, so I don't think its liked by pike but I added it just incase) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-49/go.htmlSilver Bream www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-40/go.htmlEuropean Smelt (maybe) www.zinau.lt/grupe-zuvys/nr-21/go.htmlSorry I made you go through all of that but I wanted to find out something . Now, what lures, from the Rapala family (even the 2011 models) best imitate these fish, like the colours and/or movements/flash/sounds/size (Unnatural colours are welcome as well(Yo-Zuri lures is welcomed also ), I except english and non-english answers.

Well there are a lot of lures that will fit the bill based on general color and shape, a couple of definite exact matches....and a couple I have no answer for. I dont think I can think of anything that looks like a Rudd, Tench, or Ruffe.... The carp colors you I am thinking of DT10s in Silver or Gold. Obviously the brown trout you would use the TR Rapala color. Rapala does have the ALB-Bleak color. Im sure I can think of others given more time...

Yeah, the Flat Rap in perch colour is perfect as well as Rapala jointed and the new X-rap in brown trout colour is excellent and the Original floater/Countdown in bleak colour. The tench is a strange colour I was thinking propably of the X-rap shad in moss chartruese or gold olive. we have a lot of silver and gold fish but I cant seem to find the right shape and the right silver and gold colour for the shape of the lure.
+ i added a link for the grass carp

Most of the pictures you have the fish are gold & silver so here are my choices for colors.
Shiner Gold Silver SG Silve/Gold ALB Bleak GALB Gold Bleak GSH Gold Shiner RFSH Redfin Shiner
For the Ruffe picture the Walleye color would work and for the Stinta (European Smelt) the RCL color would be a good match
Hope this helps a little!!

Yes it help the colours listed represent the fish I listed, some might be a bit too shiny. Some of the fish could work with minnow and shad shaped rapala lures. but the bream, carps and tench shape is a strange one, but what colour would you suggest would imitate its colour (for the tench(doesnt have to be exact). when looking at the DTs (what Fishooked said ) for the carps, it could work they are swimming dinner plates

I could tell you how to get hold of a good bream imitation, but its 10inches and weighs 312g, and i know you don't have the stuff needed to throw lures that big, neither do I!!!! If you are interested, they are called shad clones, and the best colour to imitate a silver bream would be "gizzard shad". If not, i could try and make you 1, although i would need the money to cover the costs of it at least

I dont even want to see that lure Lol. I'm not looking for anyone to make anything, I'm just looking at lures that mostly represent the colour and shape, and with your help that could come a lot faster . But if I'm in a situation that has nothing to offer, then I'll ask for customs or hand-made lures

Theres a fishing program in my country that advertise Jaxon lures, and the store I know sells a few but I never saw such variety . Some of the lures looks familiar, some look like x-raps and tail dancers.

For the Tench color the only thing that looks somewhat close to me is the Baby Bass, and Muddler colors

Yup the closer are close to that of the tench, but thinking about it tench change colour depending on the water and clarity, so any shades of green will work, but on very Rare occasions tench are born to be gold in colour (just type in golden tench on google search ) my uncle caught one it was an amazing sight really its almost looked transparent almost like a glass ghost in yellow/gold colour. btw Tom the Yo-Zuri 3D Flat Cranks looks more like a bream
