They were worth about $20 each until a few figured out how to paint a standard clown and make it look like an RCL. They are still going to be worth more than a standard floater. I would be looking for a few if you are looking to sell? I'll send you a PM.

No problems with the latter, but people trying to deceive does no one any good.

Not what I was trying to say at all - so please excuse me and I will clarify: You can take an Original Floater in Clown (from $7 to $10) and have an experienced painter paint a red/orange stripe on the back of it (for around $3 to $5) and you have a lure that "fishes" just like a "true" Red Clown. Total investment in lure: $10 to $15 - With this in mind - to an angler (not a collector) the red clown is worth that now. The Red clowns in this photo appear to be "Catch of the Day" boxes that have no hang tag and will more than likely have a yellow UPC on the back - in place of the original UPC and color code. As a collector - personally - this makes the lure only slightly more valuable to me than one un-fished with no box.

well, i can not see if these have the hang tags or not. what i can see is there are more than 10 of the F9 RCL. and there seems to be one row down below which may also be F9 RCL. as mentioned in the other post on this topic, just to show you got so many of these will bring down the price.
best, wolfgang
