Hello all, I am new to the board but an enthusiast. I was wondering I have had this Fly for a while. I found it in a old tackle box. I am not sure but it looks brand new, never seen the water. However, it is in an Rapala box, the end says 7cm, 2 3/4", 7 S, color hopea silver, blue/green box, celluloid cover, inside it says 1 prize 1950, 1 prize 1954, and on the bottom of the inside its in finnish, so I cant read it. but it is also says Lauri Rapala JA, Pojat, Vaaksy. I believe that someone stuck a fly in the box or did Rapala actually make flys? thanks for the help.

What was in that box was either a Countdown or Original floater. And at that date you mentioned, I think it could only have been a Original floater.
