as the title says, what are your favorite lures from other brands? please, since this is an international forum with people fishing for all types of fish, don't just put the name of the lure, but also for which species, how you use it, in which kind of water, etc. thanks

Bandit crankbait, 100 series (2 inch), Tennessee Shad, dives to about 5 feet I fish a lot of relatively shallow-water lakes and farm ponds, and this crankbait is very versatile. I mostly fish for largemouth bass, but have caught big walleye, northern pike, muskie, crappie (including a 17-incher), big catfish, huge smallmouth on Lake Superior, etc. I vary the retrieve from stop and go, to fast, to slow, and will even let it float and twitch it like a topwater lure and have gotten plenty of fish that way (it also rattles). It has a mostly square bill, so bounces off cover nicely. It's durable and stays tuned pretty well. Bandit also makes deeper-diving versions of their crankbaits. Bandit also made a 500 series, which was basically a 3-inch version of the 100 series, which I also REALLY like. They have been obsolete for a long time, but I have a nice stash of them. Why is it they always quit making my favorite, most-productive lures?!?! Derek

I'd have to go with the Bagley Small Fry series for me, specifically the foil shad type colors.

i usually fish with inline spinners. for me, the best brand for inline spinners is netts (i don't know if it's available outside of italy). i also like panther martin (italian version is different from the export one, since it has a lead body; we also have a lighter version, made with brass, sold as "martin zavorra", which literally means "martin ballast"). but the ones i usually use are cheap caperlan ones, sold by the european "decathlon" franchise, since i lose a lot of them. they are cheap but work well, i caught most of my fishes on them.
i also use many other lures and brands, but not very often. i really don't like things like senkos, i'm not patient enough!!!

I mostly use 1/8-1/16 lead head jigs with a bright curly tail rubber body. I catch panfish up to Nothern Pike on them.. Some times I cast, other times I troll them. I fish from a kayak so I move pretty slow, 3/4 to 1 mph. Sometimes Ill put them under a bobber to keep them at a certain depth.
