Folks,
I'm posting this on behalf of our friend Joe from Joe's Custom Baits; I can't speak to it since I really don't have any DT20s in my tackle box. Can anyone help?
He has a bunch of DT20s and is wondering if he should hang onto them as a result -
On the DT20s, last fall they came out with a limited run. I found them at a local Farm/Sporting good chain. There for a while I was the only one that had DT20s on eBay, I do know Rapala pulled them back because the running depth was not consistant. Some time in the last couple of months Rapala start selling the DT20s again. Both the ones I bought locally and the ones I can now get from Rapala have the metal disc in them, they are both listed as the DTMS20, but the difference is the ones I bought locally last winter have a different sized lip then the new ones.
There cannot really be very many of the smaller lipped DT20s out there as they were only sold to a handful of stores and then recalled.
Please let me know if you hear anything about the 20s,

JoeIMO I would hold on to them.They could be the next very sought after lure as someone who bought them may like them and now that there not made like that anymore.Could be some nice greenbacks in the future. |

Cool, I'll let him know. I guess the same goes for the DT-14 and DT-16? Was it you that mentioned they were being disc'd as well? |

Actually, it looks like I misunderstood Joe's question (although it does look like the old DT-20 is getting scarce regardless) Apparently Joe has DTMS-20 with a smaller diving lip than the newer ones, the newer one is shown on the right. Anyone have these with the smaller lip, or seen them before?  |
