Hi.
I just found on a german board the following news/question:

has anybody here heard anything about this?
i think this is unbelievable - on the other hand - to produce these big lures in balsa is quite expensive as compared to the new plastics. could this be the reason?

It seems to be true. Last week I've found the catalog '08 @ my local tackle dealer. There are no F-18's more for sell. The distributor for Europe here is Shimano, so it's possible to be different for other regions. Crazy for me as collector its the fact that some firetigers get unofficially the same from the 2nd generation. Back to the roots? Welcome to the 4th generation. The Shallow Mags14 arrived in Germany with six nice colors.

They did stop with the "normal "F 18's here in The Netherlands, but they started making the F18 Bleeding models.

These same colors are no avaliable in the US as is the new Yellow Perch color.Jason has a pictures of all of these in his collection photos.These look .
