I have been looking around at the specials and exclusives in the shad rap lineup, looking for SSR 07's I may want to pick up at some point. It seems like to me that there are way more colors available in the regular shad rap than the shallow model. What I was wondering was if this was because there were just more shad raps made in these colors than SSR's, or were there some shad rap specials or exclusives that were never made in the shallow model at all. I hope not, but suspect this may be so!!
Thanks, Josh

well, all of the exclusives that i have run into at fleet farm, scheels, gander mnt and others have always been SR only, usually only SR7, but some also SR5. i have seen some ssr in specials over the years, but not very often, about the time the CDSR's showed up i saw a few more specials in the SR and SSR, but not alot since. but as always we never get much for specials here, mostly you have to get them from asia or europe.

Thanks, Josh I don't know much about this kind of thing, but what i do know is that it took me months to find a silver blue shallow shad rap in the size i needed, whereas standard shad raps in silver blue were a lot easier to come by. Judging by this i think your are right; i don't think rapala make anywhere near as many shallows in rare colours as they do standards.
