I would like to know how rare are the SSR's in Gold? They used to be my favorite lures, and they quit making them. Thanks!

Pretty Rare. I dont see them in tackle shops and I have been lucky enough to find a lot of hard to find lures but no SSR in Gold. To be honest I have not seen them on ebay either. I too am a big fan of the gold color for walleye up north but lures in gold seem to be harder to find like your SSR the fat rap also dropped gold from the line as did the Shad Rap RS.

Thanks for the reply! Yup, they seem to be pretty rare. How much do you think their worth now?

I dont think you would get more then 6-7 dollars for a #5 and for a #7 I bet you would get around 10-12 dollars for it. I think it depends I dont know what kind of market they have. Like i said I have yet to see any show up on ebay. All you need is two people who want it and the price would go up I'm sure. A #8 would bring 12-18 dollars

a ssr in g is not that big a deal unless it is a size 8, and i think size 9 is also discon a few years back, but would have to look to verify. if there are SG(silver gold) then they are pretty nice finds, but you can still get ssr5 and7 in gold bacon
