I got out fishing the other day for trout and found that I couldn't get a bite no mater what I tried so I thought to hell with it I spent all this money on 100th annerversery lures might as well brake em out and Give em a swim and struth do they work I caught 2 big browns and a little rainbow. I lost 2 other browns all in the space of 1/2 an hour covering about 50m of creek. So all I can say is dont be scared get in the water. Will try and post some pics soon Tight lines everone

I think the 100 yr. lure sare great. I throw them all the time and have caught many different types of fish. Bass, Trout,Catfish, White Bass,Cappie, and Gar!! I was surprised how the trout took to them. I was lucky enough to find them retail for 7.99 each.

I bought one of each of the U.S. released colors when they first came out at Gander Mountain, for about $5.99 each. Then I was lucky enough to pick-up one of the wooden boxed sets, found it on eBay and got it for under $40, has one different color one than the US release. At the end of the anniversary year Gander Mountain was unloading the remaining stock for $2.99, I picked up about 3 more of my most successful color (the dark blue back with silver belly) and squirreled one away with my original purchases, I fish the others. They do work for Largemouth!

I have had the most success with the gold. I couldn't keep the rainbow trout off of it. I think I'm going to get some more off ebay. I really want the blue and white one!! I found one awhile back but missed out!!

I use them all the time... The gold hooks that come on them rust after a few trips, but no big deal... They are slightly weighted so they cast great!!! It's got a distinctly lazier wobble, which alot of times is the difference maker when the bite is finicky... Take one out of the fancy box & use it... It might soon become a favorite, like it is one of mine...

I hate getting attached to lures that are hard to replace but they work. I have lucked out on the rust factor at this point.
