holy cow what a huge brookie i have never seen one that fat before in my live very nice fish you should have this mounted and could these be a new state record for your state.what did it wieght in at

5 lb'er( fat indeed) small for the lake, can get up to 10lb'ers. HUGE BROOK TROUT for a small lake.

haha! Never have I seen a trout with that kind of a build. That is quite the catch and the definition of a "slab". It almost looks more like a bass in shape haha.
