Ok, I had a last minute cancellation on a night Tarpon trip in the bay. So I decieded to make lemonade out of lemons. I asked my wife if she wanted to go fishing, and what she wanted to catch...Trout she replies with a big smile.
We loaded up the the skiff bright and early with hopes of some early morning action. It wasn't long before I hear "I'm on!"... first Trout of the morning...looking good so far. After that it was basically non stop action for the next 2 1/2 hrs. With some Macks, Jacks and small Snapper thrown in for good measure. I think the total was 20+ Trout up to 6 lbs. and numerous guest stars... all released to fight another day. After that the bay started to get real busy and the fishing got real slow. We headed over to the sand bar for lunch and a lil sun, and called it a day. Anyways we took some pics of the nicer ones for yous to check out. Thanks for reading our report.
