I picked up my new Shimano Tranx yesterday and I really have fishin fever now! This reel is going to be used for cobia fishing very soon. Later this summer I will be cranking big double blade spinners for the elusive muskie. I have put the reel on an 8 foot Shimano Compre Muskie rod for the muskie and I will switch it to a 7'6" Shimano Teramar for the cobia.
I was pleased with the performance of the 80lb. Sufix 832 last summer, so I think that is what I will spool on it.
