It seems that its just harder and harder to find the old baits. Maybe I'm in a bad mood went to pick up some Fat rap #7 from a place I know had them cleaned out! They were selling for 8.50 for better so i figured I was safe. Ebay prices are not kind and the small baitshops that have stuff sometime want more then the ebay prices. I think I've had it and will give up looking for these older baits to fish with and focus on the new items and the stuff i have currently have.

Nathanha - don't give up. I am finding a few old baits every now and then - mostly in smaller shops that are off of the beaten path, or at places that typically charged too much - and now the prices aren't so bad. The "Fall prices" right now on Ebay are pretty decent as well - not alot of people watching since fishing season is coming to an end - best deal is on lures with no box.

Thanks for the pep talk. I have had a few finds this year but more strike outs. I do use ebay when I can get a fair price for the items i used for fishing. I buy a fair amount of used lures because like you said the prices are very cheap compaired to the boxed version. I clean them up new split rings hooks and they have a new life. I think part of the thrill is the chase but I dont look to much anymore like i used too. More selling then anything.
