I've had a nice taildancer in redtail chub for maybe a year or more now but it has seldom even been used, never caught a fish, never smacked into anything like a wall, rock, dock, tree or shoreline, and never even really snagged any weeds. It has recieved the most gentle treatment and least use out of all of my lures but after my last trip, on which I took it out for a few more uneventful casts, I found it had a large crack on the nose! It wiggled and then the lip pulled easily right out of the lure! I'm going to try to epoxy it back together and actually get my money out of it but needless to say I'm not impressed. Sorry about the bad picture quality but I think it gets the idea across. I havent heard any other complaints about the taildancer's durability so I will consider this a freak accident caused by a faulty glue-job but if my other taildancer does the same thing I'll be doing a little more complaining
