I noticed that I don't have any wishes when it comes to rapala lures anymore. I have been selling a lot just to clean up my stuff.
As I have been telling you guys that I keep 5 lures of each model just to fish with and only keep on collecting the SP9 models I found myself having no more wishes.
Am I really done? Am I loosing the loving feeling?
At this point the only thing I would like to purchase are 2 SP9's (SSBMU, SSGMU)

Kees - you still have 2 wishes? (the SP9's) So at least there is some hope!  Remember that when you stop collecting Rapala - this is what you will look like:   HAHA = Time for you to find new wishes! Right now besides Original Floaters, I am looking for collectibles like ice buckets and coffee mugs, etc - in fact - I picked up some shot glasses and I might have to send you a set to cheer you up!  I also have 6 of the Rapala Prints!!!!! Halfway home on those. Best of Luck Kees in finding your new wishes!  |

Happyshad, I do have wishes but they have notrhing todo with rapala's I want a new guitar amplifier to start with. and to be honest, I'd sell all my rapala's just to realize this amplifier.. Today I've been throwing for pike with fireman, unfortunately nothing happened.. I regretted not bringing my streamer lures. I am more succesfull with those. Am I loosing my faith in rapala too?   |

Cool to hear that you and Fireman Hooked up - looking forward to the pictures! Seems like your passion for music is trying to take over your passion for fishing/collecting. You have "two dogs to feed" so i guess it depends on which one you are going to choose - or keep a large dog (Music) and a small dog (fishing). Maybe the fish in your swims are getting conditioned by your Rapalas and are favoring the streamers that they have not seen as much? Maybe you need to find a new swim or two - just like a new girlfriend!  It sounds like in your country that the opportunity to fish is not that great - maybe you need to bring your fishing and your music to America?  It all comes down to balance - and I've found that through the years I've come back to fishing more and more - might have something to do with being married?  In the end, personally, I've found that the farther I get from fishing - the farther I get from happiness. Best of luck Kees! |

Happyshad, We did not make any picture. My passion for music has always been the bigger dog for me, this does not mean that I will stop fishing.. hell no! I think this is just one of those periods when pike seem to hide for a couple of weeks. And I think you can be right on the pike being conditioned to rapala. Allthough you could not be more wrong on fishing oppertunity's in the Netherlands, we have lots and lots of water with even more pike! and, I am off from work every wednesday afternoon. so,.. oppertunity's enough i geuss. I'll be searching for new swims soon,.. maybe I have caught all of the pikes in my swimm allready  Sorry to hear that your marriage is making you want to spend more time from home, you should find back the romance? Not that this is anything of my business. |

Oh - I didn't mean that about my marriage - I just meant that instead of chasing girls - I'm chasing fish - I have "limited out" in the woman category! Now the girls I chase are Big, Fat and Scaly!
