Are your rabies shots up to date? If you got that close, that is not a healthy fox. Be very careful. I know they are beautiful animals, but a healthy fox wants nothing to do with people. I've dealt with several rabid foxes through the years and they don't have to be foaming at the mouth to be sick. Behavior out of the norm is often the only visible symptom.
I enjoyed the pics. Not many people get the opportunity to get pics like that since the fox is so fast and wary.
