What is the distance between your home and the place you go fishing? I noticed that all my favorite spots are at at least 5 km away from my home. I always travel by bicycle because of the busy city I live in. so, basicly it is always a 20 minutes on bicycle for fishing. The new spot for Asp fishing is about 6 km bicycle and 1 km walk. gonna take me a half an hour to get there..  How about you guys? |

Hi I travel between 60 km and 310 km depending on any lake I want to go  Before I stocked with trolling was quite easy  I envy my colleagues who live so close to the fishing areas. But what to do, so is life  |

It is amazing the distances that Americans will travel to fish. Most of my friends drive 2 to 6 hours to fish
I moved closer to my favorite spot - which still requires a 30 minute drive. I do have a small river close by and some small streams that take less than 10 minutes to drive to.

Impulsive fishing trips - there are ! But they are still related to the same distances I live in Bulgaria . I prefer the larger and deeper lakes . So I travel a lot . Fun is priceless  A fishing day , extended my life for months  |

Funny, I prefer smaller and shallow situations.. I like to see the pike hitting my lure upclose.  |

Almost every lake near here is overfished, so I have to drive for 2 hours at least, but you still don't catch as much as you probably wanted too.

hi all
my fishing spots are 3 to 5 hrs drive away all the good spots around my home are not that good anymore with all bad stroms over the last 4 or 5 years
