I have a few Rapala lures that have lost their bibs. (original minnows). The lures are in perfect condition except the bib has come out and been lost. Can I get replacement bibs?? or do I make them up myself.?? What do I use to stick the bibs back onto the lure?? Anyone got any answers. Thanks.

I don't believe that Rapala sells replacement bills (or at least that is what I think you are referring to)? If you were to find replacement bills - super glue or a water proof epoxy would be what I would recommend!
I would fill in the void with some type of water proof epoxy or putty - Or just leave them the way they are and fish them like a topwater jerk bait or behind a weighted three way - sometimes the fish like that type of action better than the original wobble anyway!

well, i got some SFR7 replacement lips from a guy in hungary. seem to be quite good copies. never found the time to try these out though ... i have done a little DIY on wobblers (Hans Nordin worte a very nice book on this topic; unfortunately only swedish (and a bad-translation german) edition available). 2-component epoxy works just fine for fixing the lips, and it is filling gaps also; i think most super-glues are not waterproof, and the waterproof ones are really expensive, and still do not fill gaps.
Hans is even using the 2-comp. epoxy as the final layer on top of his lures, and this works just as well with pike (these lures hold much better than the 27-or-so coatings on a rapala).
best, wolfgang
