Hi Darren.
well, i guess all our super shad collectors here would love to see a pic of this one. sounds to me like a color variation of B, or even more interesting, an old S, with dark blue back instead of the usual black back, just as in the BK maybe!??
best, wolfgang

im a bit disapointed in the the lack of replies with over 130 veiws hi darren dont take it as being snubed, a lot of those who view here dont post a thing , others like me dont know very much about the SSR or its colour so say nothing, there are loads of models out there and most collect or use only 1 or 2 models, like me i collect the countdown and esko, im sure when a member who fishes or collects the SSR they will be sure to help you out

IMO it looks like a variation of Silver. If I am correct, I have no idea how common it is? But, also like Mark, I do not collect SSR-14s so I am not sure...

I was thinking the same as Ryan, but I dont know much about the super shad rap either. Looks like a different variation of S.

well.
although i had a couple nice ones here over the years (including a couple of the elusive metallic perch) i am not a supershad collector. i was thinking the same as some others here, a variation of the S, just as we can see in the BK: one being black and one being a very dark blue. now the question is, John, is the one with the black going more down on the sides, also showing this dark blue streak or a plain black? if it is blue, i would say the one starting the topic is not rare, but if it is all black, i would say i never saw (or at least didnt notice) this variation in the SSR14 S with the dark blue down on the side. and maybe some of our SSR14 collectors like to comment ...
best, wolfgang
p.s.: a word of caution; please dont complain too much about few replies, if i was expecting only one or 2 replies on each of my posts, and complaining if these dont come, i would have at least 1000 more postings ...
and Mark is perfectly right: we do not have that many super shad collectors here, but i think its fair to say, these few are really crazy, almost as much as me ...
