i need a better photo to be sure, but it is either a custom painted lure, or it is not a rapala. is there any paint on the lip, if there is, its a custom, but does the lip say rapala fat rap on it, it just looks a little off to me, but like i said, i cant see the photo very well, kinda small. the eyes and the paint job made me think Bagley right away. maybe some one else can weigh in too.

It's an fr-5. Rapala on the bill. Thought about body difference but color throws the eye off(did mine for a few min.) It's actually got some sort of shrinkwrap on the body(perch pattern) that carries ever so little on the bill. My thoughts it may be a rejected prototype from the factory-need to find out how rapala brought and voted in prototypes for production. New to the photobucket thing but will put a pic on that shows front of the lure.

Repaint IMO. Its been a very long day.. But to my knowledge they never did a red eyed Rapala. Especially one with the black dot that far forward in the eye.

nope, this is a custom painted lure. rapala puts there lips in their lures after they paint, any carry over paint or what have you on the lip and its been doctored. you can see the tape line on the lip where they masked (most of) the lip when they painted it. good lure to fish with, no real collector value.
