So today I checked out a new store and found Rapalas I had never heard of before. They were the bx - balsa extreme lures in purpledescent, perch, blue-green sardine or anchovy (cant remember exactly), silver, and also a larger gold colored jointed one. They were actually pretty cleaver looking and a neat idea. They are balsa construction on the inside with a hard plastic exterior like their newer lures which is to combine the best properties of both materials. I forgot to check the exact dive depth but they only had shallow diving lips so I would estimate 4-7 feet. Some were floating and others were slow sinking. As far as I could tell they didn't rattle though. I didn't end up getting any because they were more expensive than I could justify at this time. Does anyone else have any more information on these guys?
