Hello, from the PacNW. The topwater season starts around this time of year when it begins to warm. As of last week - topwater is official. They are now starting to hit them ( 2 bass, 1 rainbow last Saturday morn ). Flat raps are my first choice when it comes to topwater. If they don't pan out, I will drop down to an F-9 in Perch or Trout ( not my fav color, but they were on sale ). However, the FlatRaps usually produce and I don't usually have to finesse down to an F-9 floater.
