Shallow Fat Rap SFR-5 A small-sized Fat Rap at 5 cm (2") and 1/4 oz. They have two No. 4 hooks and a running depth of around 2-6 ft. Introduced in 1978, they were originally available until around 1991. Since then, there have been limited editions released in 2007, 2009, and 2011.
Candidates: CW (Crawdad) - Teal box GFR (Gold Fluorescent Red) - Teal box P (Perch) - Teal box; gold belly RB (Rainbow Trout) SD (Shad) - Teal box SFC (Silver Fluorescent Chartreuse) - Teal box
The Winner: RB (Rainbow Trout). One of the Top 10 rarest of all Fat Raps. I think I have seen a grand total of two of these.
Thoughts???

I have seen in the rapala collection of jungsawat a sfr 5 brown back and one green back. I think extremely rare Those are far more rare. But he is using colors that were available to the public. Not proto or unboxed specials. Those colors Jungsawat has, are Tenojoki River Specials. Only done for the Rapala family.

Im not arguing the RB color being one of the most rare. But much like you mentioned in FR 7 Thread. "Quote" RB (Rainbow Trout) - not sure if these are out there in sealed boxes...I've never seen one with a hang tag, anyway.
I feel the same way about this SFR 5. I have only seen two of them. And I at one time owned both. Neither of them had a tag on the box, nor were they sealed.

Thanks for the info, Jason. I think the two you owned are the only two I have ever seen. Maybe it was an FR-7 RB that I thought I had seen in a SPECIAL box...or maybe that was just a dream I had or wishful thinking. Has anyone seen the FR-7 RB in an original, unopened box?
New Winner: SD (Shad) - Teal box

If you want to see the ones Beka is talking about. Go into my album. And look under the Tenojoki River Specials section. Some examples of the ones he is speaking of.
