The rarest SFR-7 ( excluding protos ) is definitely the PW. The HT is rare, but not near as rare as the PW.

SFR7 QUESTION FOR THE EXPERTS: My son and I have been fishing with Fat Raps since the late 70's. The SFR5, repainted all black, is hands down the best smallmouth bass crank bait we've ever used. When the Fat Raps were discontinued I bought a small supply that has lasted us until now. Recently I've been able to put my hands on a few SFR5's. I just found in my garage two SFR7's in the crawdad color CW in the original boxes with the teal color hang tag. I see this lure on ebay and the asking price is very high. My question is should I use these lures or sell them? Are they too valuable to use? What do the experts think?

I think in this moment you can use for fishing. Lures you have seen on ebay are for sale from a lot of time. No one bid a CW for those prices. This is my opinion

If they have the teal hang tag, I wouldn't use them...sell them or hang on to them. If you sold both of them, you could probably buy at least 4 used, good condition, SFR-7 CW.

Teal hang tags are good. And I agree to hang on to them. Although. If your box isn't in pristine condition. The value will drop considerably. If the boxes are in really bad shape, Id say fish them.
