I today checked through one of those small booklets that used to come with every Rapala lure and found out that the Rapala Sliver was actually named Rapala Silver.

What is the story behind this, was the Sliver actually named Silver once upon a time?

I have never seen any thing that said other wise. They have all ways been a Sliver to my knowledge. But could be wrong?
