I don't feel like looking all over the place for this stuff, but what have you observed recently that quietly went away? Maybe we can keep this as a 'running thread' until we can get it all posted in the other lure-specific boards.
It looks like the Minnow Rap MR-11 is no longer available.
And my beloved DT-FATs no longer come in Yellow Perch (YP) or Bleeding Olive Shiner (BOS)...Im sure there are more but I cant think of others off the top of my head.

CD-11. I don't know if they´re discontinued but they are getting rare in stores in my opinion.

It looks like CD-11s are still available in the US Store - as far as discontinued I can only offer my perspective on what's available on the Rapala site. If they dont have a color or lure listed one can only assume they've been put out to pasture. There are just so many lures/sizes/colors that it's pretty easy for something to quietly go unnoticed.

CD-11 does not exist on Rapala Finnish website which I believe explains why they are rare in stores here.

Interesting, no longer seeing size 08 for X-Rap Shallow Shad, only seeing 06.
I wasn't a huge fan of these lures, but I really liked the size 08 vs the 06.

hi all.
well, the problem is, what is discontinued?
with all the re-editions in the last 5 years or so, what would you call discontinued anyway?
H13, SSR8, SFR7, CDJ, and many more came back (and substantially reduced the worth of the first-edition lures in most cases). so you count these as disc. or not?
and then we have all these colors which came out only in certain countries or regions, like e.g. the DT6 GFR only in eastern europe, and many others only in japan or asia or such.
the F18 had disappeared from all catalogs all over europe and asia some years ago, but was still offered in USA, and then it seems it came back also for europe (most probably due to popular demand).
and then we have these old-time-shops which stock rapala from 10 or 20 or more years back. you still see dealer boxes from the 1960s or 70s showing up, dont know though if these are coming from shops or from forgotten basements ...
so I would not add anything to disc. anymore as long as it disappeared from all over the world for more than 10 years. just my personal opinion.
best, w.

Hey long time no see I'm only going off of the current Rapala USA offerings, based on their catalog. For us in North America, it's usually a pretty good indication that said lures won't be available for retail sale in traditional stores.

Also I noticed that the Max Rap has seemed to make a pretty quick exit from the USA; it's no longer available for purchase in the USA, but seems prevalent in other markets.
Maybe it was another poor seller, which I guess explains why we didn't get the Max Rap Fat Minnow or Fat Shad too.

I figured I would sticky this and maybe keep a running tally of lures we think have been recently discontinued.
From my perspective I can only go by what is being offered (or not offered rather) by Rapala USA; these models very well be quite popular (and available) in other markets. Keep me honest here folks!
Anyway based on what I've seen lately (and this may already be old news to most of you)
-The Clackin' series is now discontinued - Clackin' Minnow, Rap, Crank, Magnum - all sizes and colors
-The Flat Rap series - all sizes and colors
-The Minnow Rap, sizes 7 & 11
-THe Crankin' Rap series - all sizes and colors
-Mini Fat Rap in Gold, Trout, and RT
