Like me. They have been scarce as well. Just to much going on. My Rapala time has dwindled to all most nothing. But im still here every now and again. And im still collecting when I can!

Hi all.
I was wondering too where everyone is hanging out, but I have to confess that my rapala collecting also slowed down quite a bit in the last one or two years. and it seems I guessed right that everybody was just too busy with other things. I usually tell people I was fishing when they complain that I did not respond to an urgent request within a few hours. I am not and hopefully never will be available online 24/7. please do not forget, rapala is just one thing in many concerning our major passion, which still should be to be out on the water and fish as much as possible.
with the fourth winter in a row which is no winter at all here, I have been fishing through all of December and some time in January. now they predict really cold weather. let´s see if we get some ice and then again: fishing.
it may also be that most people have to hold a little tighter to their extra money if there is any left at all, because even with oil and gas prices at record low, it still costs quite a lot to just live, even without buying too many rapala (and fly rods and reels) - which I still do from time to time ...

Hey all, I've been pretty scarce, as I've had a LOT going on with work and family, everyone knows the drill. I haven't had the time or energy to really keep this place going, but I'm glad to see folks are still using this place as a resource. My real job has really ramped up quite a bit over the last few years, which is a good thing, job security and all that, and other commitments have really taken a huge bite out of my free time.  |

I guess we ALL know the drill, I can't complain - I've been a bit scarce also.
Helping peeps out with electronics can be time consuming, I MOD and I work 45-55 hr/wk.
I think if you keep the porch light on and tend to it when you can, you'll keep a happy site .....
