Rapala Deep Husky Jerk in CW

Hi all,
I've wondered for some time if the DHJ-12 in Crawdad I picked up was a truely rare or just one I had missed noticing over the years. After watching EBAY and the stores pretty religiously for the last 5 years I have yet to see another one. Anyone have any info. on the production run of this lure. It is in a special box. Sits collecting dust as we speak as I don't even know how to categorize it into the collection. Just an awesome looking lure that maybe Rapala should have made more of. Don't know how to post without the lure being on the web or I'd put it up here for you guys to see.

Cool! Don't think I've ever seen a DHJ in CW, since the CW color was discontinued before the DHJ came out, I think.

shane, no i have never seen a deep hj in cw, and i would have noticed one of them, but if its in a special box, its most likly a special run lure from overseas. ahh another rapala to strive to get. trap

Hmmm. So noone has seen this lure before? These special run Rapala's are so varied its hard to keep track of them. I'll send the pic over tommorow(can't find it now so I'll take another) and Fishooked can put it up for all to see. Would like to know more about it and when and how many were produced. So far I've come up with 0 info. I think I picked up the lure in 2001. Thats all I have so far. I'll get that picture.

Thanks for posting that Fishooked. The lure is a DHJ-12, no hangin tab. Probably a short production model from what trap has said but if anyone has anymore info. about it let us know. Wish I had another to fish with. Always liked the crawdad color but couldn't fish with this one til I found another.
