Sorry to say but out of all the Rapalas I have I only own one of those . It was the one in the very bottom right hand corner . It now looks like this .  I guess I had better start collecting Super Shad Raps . |

Why thank you. If I knew my photo would be getting all this attention, I would have worried more about the glare of the flash. The one you are talking in the lower right is actually my shad one. Which Rapala confuses me with their different SD lures. That shad has the nice color along the lateral line. The one on the very bottom just has the black dot. My Rattlin Rap shad color is even different from them and is actually kind of ugly.

Nice display bodeen,
I think this set is getting close to what we need to show off all the colors of a particular model. Others who might have some of the missing colors could just send you a pic and you could add it to the list. Maybe we could do this with more model lines and eventually have one big centralized database of all the Rapala lures. I think if we do this as a group we stand a chance of completing it.

Personally I like doing white - I like 'white' web pages because they are usually faster to load as well. |

Hey Bodeen,
Or anyone else for that matter. Have you ever seen a SSR-14 in the Green Tiger (GTR) color before? The same color as the DT, and RR series GTR. It might exist but I'm trying to figure out for sure, some things get lost in translation. This would be one kick ass color for a SSR-14. Probably the best, with RDT and YT coming in a close 2nd and 3rd for me.

Poor guy loves his Super Shads. They are a great lure so I think first born for the GTR seems fair. I hope I can get a couple extra cause I know he'd love it, others too? What do you think of the color on the Super Shad. I think its a little better than the RDT, so its now my personal favorite and my overseas focus.

nice lure. I am not sure if the cd versions are doing what the floaters are doing, but the new floaters are all getting a normal rapala lid on them, instead of box top end that they used to have. If the cds are switching as well, then this might be a special run color.

It is a special run color but its older and as such is not getting the new box. It will forever be stuck in this old box style. This has been one of the harder lures to ever come by. I am still working on it. Did pick up a few other specials while tracking this one down, so all is not lost. Has anyone ever seen a F-18 in SD, the black dot kind? This was floating around out there but I'm not sure if its a Rapala product or a great repro. so I'm inclined to stay away.

this GTR was a special edition for the 30 years anniversary of a swedish fishing magazine
'Fìske Journalen' the logo appears on the other lure side, made in 2004 , no info how many of 'em were out there but i've only seen one

It must have been in really short supply. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get rapala to release the total "minted" lures of every make and model just like the US Mint does with money. That would go a long way in setting the value of lures. I know we have a gut feeling on a lures production, but there could be one guy out there with a whole closet full, that doesn't know what he has. Alright, done rambling. I'll post pics upon arrival. Bodeen has that first born arrived yet.....  |

I thought the only SFC you had was right there in that original post. Wife not for borrowing however you might find success if you stopped walking around with your suitcase of SSR and showing them off. You kind of remind me of those guys in NYC that are always flashing their knockoff watches. Anyway.... Still no NIB SFC SSR for me  I have managed to get one New SFC but sadly without the box. For me this is like getting a 22ft bass boat with no motor. Sure its a sweet ride but we gotta sit at the dock. I'll hang onto it until I find someone, anyone(do you know anyone Bodeen?  ), willing to trade for a NIB SFC and I'll give a little something else. |

I don't walk around with a suitcase of SSR, I have aq special desgned suit that allows me to where them all. It really helps fighting through a crowd at a nightclub with all those 2/0 hooks hanging on me. Also, once I slowdance with a woman, I know she will be coming home with me....she has to, that is where the split ring pliers are and I won't let a paramedic cut those hooks off. I might know someone willing to make that trade but could you please define a little something else  Last time I heard that in a nightclub from a woman, the little something else was hanging pretty low......boy that was a shocker LMAO |

I think thats appropriate considering your methods of picking up women. The little something else will definately be better than whatever it is you picked up in nightclubs.  I don't know exactly what you want but let me know if there is a line of lures (except the obvious) or a particular special or whatever that you are interested in and I'll see what I can do. |

How bout an offer you can't refuse, well maybe you can but...I think I might have a rapala Special SSR14 coming but its slightly used no box. Not exactly collection material for me but since the SSR14 has so few specials(2 that I know of) you might be interested. Here's a pic.  |
