I've heard of these referred to as Countdown 'shells', although I dont know exactly why. The don't come with trebles, so as to not damage the finish of the additional layers of paint or lacquer. These are cool as hell. Thanks to MaxBlue for the trade

Very nice. I like the shells too. I wish they had made their way out of Japan for us to buy on the shelves.
