Hey, Wondered if anyone had ever seen one of these old SFR's with the Japan label as this one has. I wasn't aware when the Japanese market starting selling the SFR but if this box is any indication it was quite a while ago. I've never seen the Japan sticker on a box this old until this one arrived in the mail. Enjoy.

I have only seen one of these that were issued from Japan , atleast with the label on it . The one I saw came with a certificate of authinticity with the production # on it . It was dated 1979 I believe . But now that Im thinking about this it was crawdad not GFR . I'll have to look into it .

I have never seen a box like that from japan. Maybe someone from japan got some the old lures off ebay and put a japanese label on it. I have a box of each the SFR-7 GFR & SFC in the old box with the green peu plongeur, but never any from Japan.

I haven't had a chance to look at the paper inside. I'll check to see if the top is loose and I will check on the paper inside. Looks like it might just be an old SFR out of Japan from the 70's. Thanks MaxBlue pretty neat.
