Check this out, this peach's eyes are bigger then its stomach. But that sure is a nice perch.

LMAO...that mofo must have been hungry as hell...I find that perch always seem to do that, even the wee ones will slam a HJ-10 that is bigger than them...

Nice Pic. You gotta Love Perch. I pick up my fair share of 10-13inchers when I'm trolling Floating 18's for Walleye. Every so often a 7 or 8 incher will pick up that F-18 and be the same length as the bait.

At least you've catch walleye, the lake that i usually fish is supposed to produce lots of walleyes. I've tried everything i can think of for walleyes, but the pike just go after them. But oh well, im going to Canada this summer, and am going to catch a lot of them.

I know that! I meant that the pike are biting at everything I use to try to catch walleye.

I was playing nice, that is why there was a wink at the end To try and stay away from the pike, you could try bouncing a 1/4 ounce jig tipped with either a leech or half of a nightcrawler. This has been successful for me in Canada. I did have to slow my troll speed down to about a mile an hour. Hope this helps and good luck!

Depending on where you're at, you may still have to get the walleye in quick.....pike love a struggling walleye on a line. I can't wait to use my SSR14 W in Ontario this spring.

I found out that those are European perch. They have a more broader shape then ours, and get bigger too.
