Hello, My name is Sébastien. I live in the center of France and fish with rapala since let's say 30 years. I am not a real collector because i use it and take them all in my fishing box. Sometime i have to take some out to put new ones! I like looking at those small color lures ; One day i will start to collect them seriously. But at the moment i prefer using it. I will make a few photos of the ones i think that are rare or unusuals. In France the unusual colors may be different from USA so may be you are going to be disappointed. My favourite: risto rap 5 silver blue (and the same in 4 i dare not taking out of the box) the ones i do not understand: downdeep husky jerk yesterdays caughts on : xrap jointed 14 gold and shadrap 9 firetiger Thank you for the site seb

Very humble beginnings indeed, this is a neat thread. I see that Jason finally made it on here.. LOL. And Im glad he did. Sebastian, my favorite lure is also a Risto Rap 5, let me ask you, when and how do you fish the Risto Rap 5? I think it works great on impoundments and lakes in the early spring when bass start feeding heavily on shad. It has a very natural action, dives down to a good depth, and looks just like a frantic, fat little shad.

oops. didnt know there was an introduction thread.
well , im from miami , florida. ive been fishing as a hobby for a few years now. i stay about 3 minutes from the ocean but dont like salt water fishing lol. i like to go for peacock bass , but when they arnt biting , ill go after the largemouth. recently got into light tackle fishing again when i got my fenwick river runner and i can already see my tackle box's (which i recently cleaned out) starting to fill with smaller rapalas.
