More Board Changes are coming....

Just to keep everyone in the loop.

You may stuff change or move around some as I experiment with different things. You may have already noticed some little tweaks here and there:

>Images resized automatically - no need to resize that huge image, the board will now scale them down to fit, so you don't have to scroll all the way across to view it. Just click on a resized image to display the whole thing.

>Avatar gallery - now you can see all the avatars that are available, as well as upload one directly from your modify profile section. Don't worry, I'll be adding more as we go along!

>The board will be going "ad-free" - meaning the ads at the top & bottom of the page will be going away. Sadly, it's not free to remove, so Im going to ante up to pay to have them removed.
Feel free to donate any $ if you want to help further the cause, LOL!

>Once the board goes 'ad-free' I'll be adding some of some new affiliates I've been working on trying to get. At least now the ads should be custom-tailored to stuff we may all be interested in.


>Lastly, and this is something I'm very excited about, this site will have it's own, new domain name...something that will be a secret until it's ready to go....damn, I have a lot of work to do...
but its a good thing

There has been no official name change - yet. Althought the domain has been purchased already. I think it's something that's short enough, and probably won't infringe upon much, anyway...

FYI all, the area for your private messages has now been moved.

Where it used to appear in the top left of the screen, it has now been to just underneath the menu buttons.

Makes more sense to me...

Tweaked the menu buttons which have been bothering me for a really long time!

Also finally updated the top image banner, figured it's been 5 years, what the hell...even though it's essentially the same.

I am pretty excited however to have finally found the Rapala 'font' that they use on their ads & stuff, so if it looks a little 'familiar' then that's why!

Also if the above scrolling ads are somewhat annoying, those are temporary for now, until I get more saavy with html tables & crap.

I'd rather have them more static but Im working on it....

And please let me know if anything looks different between FireFox & IE...I pretty much use FireFox for everything these days, personally...

Well someone had mentioned that some of the buttons are too small on here (these are the reply, new thread, modify, etc), and I totally agree.

I redid them in larger text so hopefully that will make it easier to read & navigate...
