Are the sub-boards a pain in the ass?

Honestly...

Because I can't help but think I keep pissing people off by changing this stuff around...

Seriously - should I move everything back to the front page with ALL the topics back to where they were?

Or... are you guys getting used to the new format?

Sorry I keep finding new code to play with and then I got overboard, LOL. I guess I can't help it, keeps me busy on here, instead of scouring ebay

They ARE a pain in the ass, Im sorry but they are.

My problem was I listened to too many so called 'site experts' that said I have too many boards on the main page...

Well you know what, sure it looked cleaner, however;

-it was hard to tell what category was posted in from the main page
-you had to do more navigation
-and I dont know why I listened in the first place

So with that, unless I add a bazillion more categories ( which is entirely possible ) - I think it's going to stay this way...everything right on the first page.

Trying to get new members isnt going to help if the board is a pain to navigate...

well i was trying to keep up, but damn.
ok, time for my .02
bring back the 25 most recent button, cant find the new posts with all these boards hidden beneth 3 clicks of the mouse. that was a nice easy way to make sure you were caught up on all the new posts.
the sponsors and fav ebay sellers link, i think they were better with the pictures at the bottom, much more eye catching.

other then that i like the new front page. and the little logos over each catagory subset, very cool, but they keep changing, everytime i see one, i think, hey thats pretty neat, and the next time in its a differnt picture, man you must have a hell of a time making up your mind. sure that makes shopping for your wifes b-day present a real hoot.

if i type in >>rapalanation<< to google, i get the 25 most recent link, if i log-in, its disappeared. any explanation for that?

the new-new-old-new look looks good to me; just, please Ted, try not to change on a daily basis for the next couple of years ... LOL

I see the 25 most recent tag for a few seconds when switching back and forth to different pages then it disappears

My problem is that Im just anal.

Once I start to change something, then I have to keep working it until I get it right.

I started the category images, but then it looked kinda stupid with only one heading underneath, and also it might be harder to navigate for new people.


Now that that I did add them, now the images are too small

As far as the structure or 'bones' of this place, I promise to leave it this way; at least I'll try not to mess with the board itself.

And yes I will try to figure out what happened to 'View the last 25 posts of this forum...



But at least for the time being, you can now see ALL of the boards on one page.

Yeah, the 'new' Info Center' overlays the old one.
I like the layout of the new one, but I need to figure out how to get that link back in there...

Not just him, but Steve 'muskiehunter' has been bellowing for that too

Then its settled... the 'frame' of the site stays this way...otherwise you guys can drive to NJ and kick my arse...
