Memorial Day Weekend plans?

So what's on the docket for everyone this weekend?

takin the camper to the state park (where my wife works) for a few days of being lazy.

I finally graduate this Saturday, and Sunday I plan on doing some fishing.

If I said ,, after work I may go have a beer or two . Would that be better .

Well, I've got that dayjob thing to do also.
It won't be all weekend.
No plans on hitting the water. sad to say.

I do however have NASCAR to take up a little time and
this weekend it's all about
the longest NASCAR race.
The Coca-Cola 600 or as us 'old-timers' know it
The World 600.
600 miles on a mile and a half track down at Lowes Motor Speedway.

I'll also be doing some yardwork and then

it's time to do MY Race schedule.
I've got a NASCAR race to attend in June at MIS (Michigan International Speedway)
MIS is a 2 mile high-banked track

Oh and then I get to go back to the track for a Ride-along,
A ride-along? you ask.

Yup, I'm getting strapped into a NASCAR Car, a 850 hp, loud as hell Race-car
and they tell me we'll be hitting real close to Qualifying speed,
which at MIS could be between 185 to 195mph.

I've bought a new camera, a Kodak digital video camera
so I can record this. Hopefully I'll have learned enough about it that I can
cut out the audio part of me screaming like a little girl!!

This is gonna be one hella of a ride!!!!

I have to fisnish up a remodeling project.If my wife would quit changing her mind on some things it wouldn't be that bad,but you know how women are

I am making a point to take my kids Bass fishing on Sunday

Might also try for some Bluegills now that they are on their beds

They have been bugging me to go but haven't had the time
