Below you will see photos of Lauri Rapala manufacturing some of the very first Rapala lures from his house in Finland. Photos of family and friends working on his lures, painting and assembling them. Some of the first Rapalas came to the U.S. around 1961 ( some earlier) but mainstream Rapalas came here in 1961. I think these photos are INCREDIBLE! and wanted to share.
