Extra Rapala's

I was painting up some lures for someone today and as usual my mind started wandering and I thought about this.

I wonder if Rapala has a stash of old discontinued colors and models somewhere in its factories.

I think about the same thing. I stop in all the tackle shops hoping to find discontinued rapalas sitting on a shelf.

yeah, i was just wondering this the other day too. it was about 6 or 7 years ago now that they did that catch of the day thing and most of that was disc stuff, im still kinda hopeing that we might see some of that again soon.

Hey Bacon, I remember that catch of the day stuff well. I walked in the store and was like WTF. Couldn't believe my eyes. A whole bin of Europes discarded Rapalas. Lady couldn't believe I bought $$$ that many lures. It was priceless.
