If you're using IE, try downloading Firefox and see if that works. Do other internet sites work ok? Can you login to other sites, or are those hosed too? This is info I need to know...

IE stinks...lol My guess is that it's something in your browser settings or something in IE that is preventing you from logging in somehow. Go to - www.firefox.comDownload the latest version, v3.5 - install is a snap. I think its faster than IE as well. Do that, and see if you can login from there. My guess is that you'll be able to. Once you use it, you'll never go back to IE. Let me know what happens!

still using IE, i have completly refused to go to Vista, running it on XP. however, like i refuse to switch to vista, i also have refused to upgrade IE, still running it on IE6, thats right, 6. i dont do alot of crap on the internet, all i do still works with IE6, and i know of a lot of problems my father is having with IE8, and firefox fixed most of them. this site is still very quick even though i have a slower DSL. the 50 most recent link takes a bit longer then it used to, but it used to only me 10, so i can wait the few extra seconds for the other 40. the only time i really have to wait is when some showoff post 100 pictures of his haughty taughty custom paint jobs, and it really kills the load time. my wife is watching me type right now and just mentioned that i hit the enter button, i said, "yeah, im sure i will catch some slack for that" to which she replied, "umm, didn't you hear me. you already are." i cant catch a break, from you guys, and now even from her.
Muskie- just given ya a hard time about the customs, guy. you know i think there fricken awesome.

Firefox is the way to go, and Apple's Safari is a nice one too. Haven't tried Google's (Chrome) but I don't want to get too nerdy....too late...I've said too much... But that's what I do for a living, testing internet applications...I need to figure out a way to work on the site at work without people thinking Im working on the site...

Hey Steve, I feel your pain on this dial-up stuff!!! Working out of town sucks. All I have is dial-up during the week. Makes it hard to check up on things here. I have to memorize where each icon is (ex.-reply) just so I don't have to wait for them to load. Makes me look foward to going home for the weekends. At least I have cable there. Hey, on a positive note, tomorrow is FRIDAY. The weekend is almost here and no more dial up!!!

Damn...I realize I may be potentially limiting our audience by the performance of the site...but it's too late to change it now. I may, however, come up with a work-safe skin or dial-up version that you can select that might be easier for dial-up folks...

Some tips on DIAL-UP Users! This should help make the site faster. Click on the 'Profile' button Click on 'Edit Profile' Here's where you can change THESE SETTINGS so it should run faster! Change 'Show signatures' to NO Change 'Show Avatars' to NO Change 'Show Images' to NO Change the skin from 'default' to 'DIALUP' Let me know if that works!
