Yes, we are getting another blast tomorrow, sunny Fri, rain Sat. I dont think most of the waters have ever got to their normal levels yet this year, damn depressing at times. I think i'm spending to much time in the Legion instead of fishing!!I notice Moncton on the map, I live just outside the city!!

casey10, just outside Moncton? No kidding! I grew up there when I was a kid. What a place! Shediac, Cocagne, all those spots...probably my favourite place in the world next to Les Iles de la Madeleines (that's our family homestead). hmm, when I think about it, here I am in the Alberta foothills ...something obviously went horribly wrong. Vive L'Acadie!! Oh, by the way, back to topic at hand I guess...hot and dry here in the hills this summer. Very, very unusual. It's usually dry here in July, but 90 degrees? That's just ridiculous...can't wait for the heat to break so the fish will wake up and come off the bottom.

No kidding...for us it's really tough..we're absolutely not used to this. In fact, at the beginning of July we were still in the 50's. Today isn't so bad...so far it's only 60...where it should be for here. Mind you, they're calling for thunder boomers and 80 by this afternoon. Really weird. Then again, living here we've become pretty resilient and expect just about anything. This is the only place I've lived where the snow boots are ALWAYS in the truck, and you make sure you've packed survival gear...even when it's absolutely beautiful out.
