- Try not to burn the place down while I'm gone. Actually I'll probably need another vacation from my vacation. Nothing like trying to cover your ass before you leave work., and then have to deal with all the bs of all the stuff that went wrong while you were gone...   I wont have access to the site while I'm gone, and only limited email access, so if you need something, let me know now or if it can wait until I get back on 8/16, then so be it... |

Have a good one and kick some serious fish-butt!!! I wish...it's not really a 'fishing' vacation  but a family vacation...which means no fishing, lol. Actually, that's not 100% true, the beach house we're staying at is a block away from the bay side of the Atlantic...but ocean fishing for me might as well be rocket science...I haven't a clue what I'm doing. But, I'll bring all the metal spoons, jigs, and plastics that I can to see if I can't scare something up...and some of my crappier reels, that saltwater isn't too kind on the reels I own... |

Have a nice vacation.Try to enjoy I'll try...with the kids its almost like work! But at least I have the bay side of the Atlantic a block away from where we are staying. Don't know what Im doing in the ocean though, so Im just going to throw some Kastmaster spoons & jigs and see what happens...Im sure I'll have some great shots of the 'ocean' when I get back.  |

Hey Ted! We've missed you mate! How was your vacation? It was good, except for some of the weather, and damned biting flies  - with the wind coming in off of the bay, the ocean side had no wind, which meant the flies would be bad, and they were - thankfully the weather broke and the winds shifted - I have more to post, including some pictures, when I have time. The worst part of the vacation was when a rogue wave crashed onto the beach, and wiped out all of out stuff...my wife's digital camera and cell phone where the biggest casualties...so of course we're going cell phone shopping today Because a woman without a phone is like a man without a *****. |
