Bluebird skies today, but tomorrow t-storms are rolling in during the afternoon... Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow morning and be able to hit that elusive pre-front bite

Surf's up, baby!! Unfortunately, we're having beautiful weather, but it's a long weekend here...we've been invaded by the 'citiots'. No way in hell we're getting to the water today... ...or tomorrow, or Monday...

Good luck Ted,
Oh yeah, stay out of the lightning or you might look like this smiley ;D but without the smile on your face

Well I survived...the camera got wet, so no lake pics for anybody. Downpoured pretty much half the time, although I did get a couple nice bass, one on a Key Lime Pie Senko and another on a Skitter Pop...would have been a good day, except for the rain. I had to bail around 10:30 when the thunder started rolling in, I was lucky it didn't start sooner.

Good idea to get off the water when it booms...in a small note of justice, we had a flash boomer roll through here yesterday around supper time... when I say flash, ten minutes and all hell breaks loose. If you don't heed the clouds right away and get to shore, you're caught. Well, the 'citiots' got pounded with hail last night while they were out in their boats and not paying attention to the sky. The only thing that would've made it better would've been serious lightning, and them in aluminum boats. Oh well, I guess you can't have it all...

I was surprised that those red & yellow bands weren't accompanied by lightning...best thing I ever did was download weather.com on my phone...so I always have access to the radar maps and what's coming up next. It actually got worse once I got home, good thing I bailed when I did...

If you didn't have bad luck you would have no luck at all (at least when it comes to fishing weather)
