Hit my local lake yesterday for a little bit of fishing. Considering that everyone else decided it was a good day to ski, tube, jetski, boat, and such, I faired okay. Below is a picture of the monster I pulled out of the lake.
This looks like an old Falstaf can from the 50s. It has the punchtop version top. I haven't collected cans since I was a kis, so I am unsure of the age. I like to think it was an old timer sitting in a wooded boat, jigging for walleye, or drift fishing catfish and enjoying a beer in the evening hours.
Actually, other than that monster, I pulled in a walleye, 5 catfish, and a bluegill. Catfish we all in 4-9 feet of water. Kind of shallow for this time a year on those boys in this lake. Not too bad considering the boat traffic
