Today, i went to a spot at the river that peoplle hardly ever fish, was using a frog skitter pop, and had a smallie explode on it, it was awsome. Three jumps later it headed towards a brush pile! Was stuck in there for five minutes untill I decided to go grab it by hand. The water was up to my hips, and my feet sunk in about 3 inches of silt, but it was worth it! The smallie was 16 1/2 inches long, and at least 3 lbs. Anyone else here catch any big smallies to brag about?

The first two were actually caught on shallow shad rap 8s in probably hot steel color. The bottom one was hooked on a jig and crawler.

Can't argue with the results Atleast I didn't put up the walleye picture caught on a wally diver

I also do really well with Mepps, Rooster Tails, and Beetle Spins.
