First fish of the season!

Hey guys!

Well, today was the first fishing day of the season and it was pretty much... horrible!

After hours and hours of casting a retrieving the lures the four of us were tired, sunburnt and thirsty.

Untill... I got a bite! This wasn't my first time out on the water and I've caught some bass... But this one, this little green fish, was worth the wait! It's an amazing feeling, under harsh conditions being able to catch a bass!

By the way... It was caught on a Glass Shad Rap!

PS.: And I lost a Firetiger CD-7 and a bluegill Jointed Shad Rap

It's the lake I talked about when I introduced myself, in Santa Susana. The water is more shallow there, but there's also a watersports area there... So it wasn't exactly quiet. But on week days it is much, much better.

What did you lose the lures on stumps or rocks below? If so, at least you know there's some structure there.

That's when i bust out the 10" Berkley Power Worms...
